1/2 bottle (3 3/4 oz.) Minute Maid lemon juice 1/4 c. butter, melted 1/2 tsp. crushed thyme leaves 1/8 tsp. liquid pepper sauce 1 broiler-fryer (about 2 1/2 lbs.), quartered Pepper to taste Combine lemon juice, butter, thyme and pepper sauce in a small bowl. Sprinkle chicken with pepper. Place chicken, bone side down, on grill over hot coals. Brush with basting sauce. Grill 40 minutes, turning once. Baste frequently with sauce. Serve with remaining sauce. Makes 3 to 4 servings. |
