2 lbs. chicken breasts
Garlic salt
Pepper
Salt
1/2 c. cornstarch
2 eggs, beaten
Salad oil
Pineapple, diced and 1/4 c. pineapple juice
3 tbsp. ketchup
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
1 green bell pepper, diced
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
Sprinkle garlic salt on chicken. Dip chicken in eggs and then in cornstarch. Deep fry.
Sauce: Mix sugar, water, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and pineapple juice; heat until all sugar is dissolved. Lay the fried chicken in baking pan; pour sauce over it. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Turn chicken over once and baste occasionally. Add the diced pineapple and green peppers to the chicken, last 10 minutes before removing from oven.
