4 med. sweet potatoes 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla 1/2 stick butter 1 c. flour (self-rising) 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 1 stick butter Cover potatoes with water and cook until tender. Add sugar, vanilla and 1/2 stick butter. Stir together. In baking dish melt 1 stick butter. Mix flour, sugar and milk. Pour batter over melted butter (do not stir). Spoon mixture over batter. Bake 350 degrees 1 hour or until brown. |
