24 Oreo cookies, crushed fine 4 tbsp. melted butter 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 gal. chocolate or coffee ice cream Mix cookie crumbs; butter and nuts. Reserve 1 cup of crumb mixture. Press remaining mixture in a 9 x 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Spread softened ice cream over cookie crust and sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over ice cream. Freeze for about 24 hours before cutting into squares. Hint: Cookies may be placed in a blender. Place a FEW cookies in at a time. |
