STRAWBERRY PIE (Weight Watchers)
 

(4 servings: 1 bread, 1 fat, 1 fruit, 20 optional cal.)

CRUST:

8 graham crackers
8 tsp. diet butter

Bake or chill as desired.

FILLING:

Combine 1 1/2 cups water and 2 tablespoons cornstarch in pan. Mix, heat to a boil. Set off. Add 1 package diet strawberry Jello and 4 or 5 packages sweetener. Stir in 3 cups sliced strawberries. Pour into crust and chill. Garnish with 1 tablespoon Cool Whip if desired (12 additional optional calories).

GRETTA'S VARIATIONS:

Cherry Pie: Use recipe above substituting 1 can cherries packed in water and cherry diet Jello. Use liquid from cherries for portion of water.

Lemon Pie: Mix 3 cups water with 4 tablespoons cornstarch. Follow instructions above, adding 2 packages lemon sugar-free Jello and 10 packages Equal. (1/4 of pie = 1 bread, 1 fat, 40 optional calories, no fruit).
