1 (8 inch) baked pie shell 2 pts. strawberries 3/4 c. water 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. lemon juice Red food coloring Whipped cream or Cool Whip Line pastry shell with berries, reserving rest for glaze. Simmer berries, water, cornstarch, and sugar until clear. Add lemon and red coloring; cool. Pour over berries. Chill. Add creme or good just plain. |
