JELLO STRAWBERRY PIE
 

1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
1 pkg. strawberry Jello
1 pt. strawberries
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 c. sugar
1 c. hot water

Dissolve Jello in water. Wash and hull strawberries and cover with sugar. When Jello is cooled (not set) pour over berries. Chill until almost congealed. Whip cream and add 4 tablespoons of Jello mixture in bottom of pie shell. Take strawberries from Jello and lay on top of cream when a solid layer is made, pour the thickened Jello over all and chill in refrigerator until firm and ready to serve. It will have a clear red top, with berries showing large and beautiful. The cream is a surprised when served.
