STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM PIE
 

15 oz. pkg. all ready pie crusts
1 tsp. flour

FILLING:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. shortening
4 c. fresh strawberries, washed and hulled

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare pie crusts according to package directions. Bake at 450 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. In large bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and almond extract, blend well.

Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into pie crust. Arrange strawberries pointed side up over filling. Chill. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in saucepan over low heat. Drizzle over strawberries and filling.
