APPLE PUFF PASTRY
 

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water

Mix above and pat out in greased tin. Criss-cross design with fork after patting out. On stove: 1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs 2 c. apples

Bring water and butter to boil. Add flour; stir immediately. Add eggs, flavoring, and apples. Spread over patted out crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Mix confectioners' sugar and milk to desired consistency. Drizzle glazing over top glazing.
