1 baked pie shell 1 can pitted tart cherries 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. almond 2 med. bananas Mix cherries, sugar, cornstarch together. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Stir in butter, cool and stir in cinnamon and almond. Slice bananas and layer them on the bottom of pie shell. Top with cherry mixture and chill. |
