CRANBERRY APPLE COBBLER
 

COBBLER:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. peeled, cored, sliced, 1/4 inch thick apples (4 med.)
2 c. fresh or frozen whole cranberries, thawed

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

Heat oven to 400 degrees. For cobbler, in large bowl, combine 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add apples and cranberries. Toss to coat with flour mixture. Place in 2-quart casserole dish.

For crumbs, in medium bowl, stir together 2/3 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit mixture. Bake 40-45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream. Makes 8 servings.
