Fresh strawberries 1 baked pie shell Whipped cream 1/2 quart crushed strawberries 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch Dash salt 1 tbsp. strawberry Jello 1 tbsp. butter Mix all glaze ingredients. Boil for 2 minutes and cool. Place a little glaze in pie shell. Pile fresh strawberries high in pie shell. Pour on remaining glaze. Chill. Serve with whipped cream. |
