1 c. orange juice 1 c. orange sections, cut in sm. pieces 2 tbsp. grated orange rind 1 c. sugar 5 tbsp. cornstarch 3 egg yolks, beaten 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. butter Combine juice, sections, rind, sugar and cornstarch. Cook until clear. Add a little hot mixture to beaten egg yolks. Return to hot mixture and cook about 5 minutes longer. Blend into lemon juice, butter. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue. Bake until lightly browned in 350 degree oven. |
