5 c. peeled, cored, sliced baking apples 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. oatmeal 1/4 c. flour 1 c. light brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt Place apples in a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Add water. Combine the flour, oatmeal, sugar, butter, cinnamon and salt, rubbing with your fingers until it forms fine crumbs. Spread the crumbs over the apples. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 40 minutes, uncovered. |
