FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE
 

1 pt. fresh strawberries
1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
Red food coloring
3 tbsp. strawberry Jello

Wash berries and drain well. Bake pie shell and set aside. Mix sugar, cornstarch and water and food coloring to make dark red. Put mixture in boiler and cook slowly, stirring constantly until it thickens to soft pudding consistency. Remove from heat, add 3 tablespoons strawberry Jello. Arrange berries in pie shell and pour mixture over berries. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours before serving. Top with whipped cream.
