HOT DILL PICKLES
 

Fresh cucumbers, medium size
Fresh dill
Garlic
Jalapeno peppers

Prepare clean jars and lids for canning. Wash and scrub cucumbers; wash dill and hot peppers; peel garlic and separate into cloves.

Place one jalapeno pepper; 3-4 garlic cloves, and a small bunch of fresh dill in bottom of each quart jar. Pack tightly with cucumbers to the rim of the jar, place another small bunch of dill on top.

PICKLE SOLUTION:

6 c. water
2 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. salt (non-iodize)
Pinch of alum

Bring mixture to boil and pour over cucumbers to below rim of jar. Seal good.
