FREEZER PICKLES
 

1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
2 qt. sliced cucumbers
1 med. onion
2 tbsp. salt
Cold water

Let stand 2 hours. Drain the salt water off the cucumbers. Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers and let stand 1 day in refrigerator.

Pack in freezer containers and freeze. Pickles are better the longer they are in the freezer.
