EXTRA-EASY LASAGNA
 

In this recipe, there's no need to cook the lasagna noodles before assembling -- they cook while the lasagna bakes!

3/4 lb. ground raw turkey or ground beef
3 c. Prego reg. spaghetti sauce
1 container (15 oz.) Stella ricotta cheese
2 c. shredded Stella Mozzarella cheese (8 oz.)
1/4 c. grated Stella Parmesan cheese (1 oz.)
6 uncooked lasagna noodles
1/4 c. water
Grated Stella Parmesan cheese for garnish

1. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook turkey until thoroughly cooked and no pink remains, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce; heat through.

2. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, stir together ricotta, Mozzarella and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.

3. In 12 x 8 inch baking dish, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce. Top with 3 lasagna noodles and half of cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining meat sauce. Slowly pour water around inside edges of baking dish. Cover tightly with foil.

4. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover, bake 10 minutes more. Let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan, if desired. Makes 8 main-dish servings. Preparation time: 20 minutes. Cooking time: 55 minutes.
