LASAGNA - PAT'S & GLENDA'S COMBO
 

1 lb. pork sausage, cooked, drained
1 lb. beef chuck, cooked, drained
2 lg. cloves garlic
2 tbsp. oregano
2 tbsp. parsley
1 tbsp. basil leaves, crushed
1 can Hunts spaghetti sauce, traditional
1 container cottage cheese, lg.
1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked, drained (about 14 wide noodles)

Simmer in large pot meat, sauce, spices. In oblong casserole dish layer meat mixture, layer of noodles, meat mixture, cheese; repeat until full. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with salad and garlic bread.
