CHEESEBURGER MACARONI
 

1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pkg. hamburger mix for cheeseburger macaroni
3 1/2 c. hot water
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 c. seasoned croutons, if desired
2 to 4 slices process American cheese, sliced diagonally into halves

Cook and stir ground beef and onion in 10 inch skillet until brown; drain. Stir in Macaroni Sauce Mix and hot water. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Arrange tomato slices on top. Sprinkle with croutons. Arrange cheese halves on top. Cover and cook 5 to 6 minutes until cheese begins to melt.
