CHEESEBURGER MACARONI
 

1 lb. hamburger (lean)
1 med. onion
Salt and pepper to taste
7 oz. uncooked macaroni
1 sm. can tomato paste
1/2 lb. American or Velveeta cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. barbecue seasoning

Saute hamburger, onion and spices in small amount of olive oil or vegetable oil in large skillet. Stir in tomato paste. Add uncooked macaroni, and enough HOT WATER to cover.

Stir well. Cover skillet and simmer until macaroni is done. Add sliced cheese on top in one layer. Cover, turn off burner, and let set for 5 minutes until cheese melts.
