PASTA SAUCE WITH MEATBALLS
 

30 oz. tomato puree
10 oz. tomato paste
6 Italian sausages
Water
1 tsp. oregano
1 lb. ground beef (no more than 75% lean)
1 egg
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
2 slices bread (wet & crumbled)

Brown sausage in large pan. After sauces are done, add tomato paste. Then fill can from tomato paste with water. Add and mix. Add tomato puree. Fill tomato puree can with water, add and mix. Add oregano, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper; mix. Set range on low and simmer until ready to serve (at least 2 hours).

1 hour prior to serving mix ground beef, egg, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper and bread in large mixing bowl. Knead together until mixed. Take desired amount of meat mixture and roll into balls until all meat mixture is balled. Brown meatballs in frying pan. When meatballs are finished, add to tomato sauce. Scrap drippings from frying pan into sauce mixture. Make pasta as desired.
