Cut up chicken (drumsticks are best); approximately 10 to 12 pieces 1 c. soy sauce 2 tsp. ginger 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. garlic powder or cloves 3 c. water Combine ingredients except chicken and bring to a boil. Add chicken and return to boil then simmer for 30 minutes. Cool and refrigerate in sauce to marinate several hours or overnight. Broil chicken in oven grill or outside grill until brown and slightly crisp. This recipe is super for a barbeque/picnic or to ease pressure at dinnertime. The prep work is easy and the chicken is done when browned. |
