1/2 lb. butter
3 eggs
3 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, stir in flour, then vanilla. Drop by spoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until light brown.
