PUNCH BOWL CAKE
 

2 (8 oz.) Cool Chip
3 (#303) tart cherries in syrup
2 (#303) crushed pineapple
1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 lg. box Jello instant vanilla pudding
Strawberries or other fruit

Mix and bake cake mix according to package directions in 11"x14" pan until light brown. Let cool and cut into 3 sections. Mix pudding per instructions and hold aside.

Use a punch bowl or large container of about 2 1/2 gallon capacity. Break up the first section of the cake in the punch bowl. Spoon a layer of the vanilla pudding, layer of pineapple, layer of cherries and a layer of Cool Whip. (Use a perforated spoon when dipping the pineapple.) Repeat this layering 2 or more times. Garnish with fresh strawberries or other fruit. Serves 35.
