PUNCH BOWL DESSERT
 

1 butter cake mix (bake in 2 layers)
2 lg. pkgs. vanilla instant pudding (made up)
2 lg. cans crushed pineapple, drained
3 bananas, sliced
2 cans cherry or strawberry pie filling
1 can (1/4 c.) coconut
1 lg. Cool Whip
Pecans

Break one layer of cake into bottom of punch bowl, cover with half of pudding, then half of bananas, 1 can pineapple, 1 can of cherry pie filling, coconut. Break other layer of cake and repeat layers.

Spread Cool Whip on top and sprinkle coconut and nuts. Refrigerate overnight or make early in day 5 or 6 hours. Optional: coconut and nuts.
