CHERRY BERRY SLUSH
 

Quench summer thirsts deliciously with this sparkling fruit drink shown in the 10 ounce Deluxe Tumblers. frozen red raspberries or 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries 1/2 of a (16 oz.) pkg. frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries or 2 cups fresh pitted dark sweet cherries 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apples juice concentrate, thawed 1 (24 oz.) bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled Lime slices, (optional)

Thaw frozen fruit; do not drain. Place raspberries in a blender container or food processor bowl. Cover and blend or process until smooth. Strain and discard seeds. Transfer strained berries to Medium Mixing Bowl. Place cherries in blender container or food processor bowl; add apple juice concentrate. Cover and blend or process until smooth. Combine with the berries in Medium Mixing Bowl. Transfer fruit mixture to Freez-N-Save Container. Apply Seal and freeze overnight or up to 2 months.

For each 10-ounce serving, scrape spoon across frozen slush mixture and spoon about 3/4 cup into chilled 10-ounce Deluxe Tumbler. Slowly pour in 4 ounces of the lemon-lime carbonated beverage. Stir gently to mix. Garnish with lime slice, if desired.

For each 14-ounce serving, scrape spoon across frozen slush mixture and spoon about 1 cup into chilled 14-ounce Deluxe Tumbler. Slowly pour in 6 ounces of the lemon-lime carbonated beverage. Stir gently to mix. Garnish with lime slice, if desired. Makes about 6 (10- ounce) or 4 (14-ounce) servings.
