1 lb. lean bacon 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. chili sauce 1 (8 oz.) can whole water chestnuts 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. lemon juice Microwave 6-8 bacon strips 3 minutes on high or until partially cooked. Drain off fat. Make water chestnuts uniform by cutting large ones in half. Wrap bacon around water chestnuts and secure with a toothpick. Arrange in a circle pattern in a 1 1/2 quart utility dish. Mix together next 4 ingredients to make sauce. Pour sauce on top and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve or cook on full power for 5-6 minutes. |
