1 qt. green bens 4 cooked red potatoes 2-3 strips bacon 1 sm. onion 1/4 c. vinegar, or more to taste A little salt Cook the potatoes in their skins; then peel and cut into small pieces. Use fresh or canned green beans cut into 1 inch pieces. Cook beans with water until done. Add potatoes and chopped onion. Fry bacon until browned, remove from fat in pan; cut into serving sizes and add to bean, potato and onion mixture. Cook all together, add vinegar if desired for flavor. |
