CHURCH SUPPER HAM LOAF
 

1 lb. ground ham
1 lb. lean pork sausage
2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
1/3 c. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. paprika

BASTING SAUCE:

1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/8 tsp. black pepper

In large bowl, gently combine all ham loaf ingredients. Form into loaf. Place in shallow baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour. In saucepan, combine all ingredients for basting sauce. Bring to boil. Drain all drippings from ham loaf. Pour basting sauce over it. Continue baking loaf, basting occasionally, for 15 to 30 minutes or until lightly brown.
