STANDING RIB ROAST
 

1 (4-6 lb.) beef rib roast, approximately 2-3 ribs
Salt and pepper
Garlic salt or powder
Garlic pepper

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place roast on rib bones in roasting pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, garlic salt and pepper. Insert meat thermometer into thickest part, making sure tip of thermometer is in center of roast and not resting on a bone or on fat.

Roast until temperature reaches required degree of doneness, reference roasting time and temperature chart. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes prior to carving. Serve with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce.
