1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. minced onion
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
8 lbs. spareribs, parboiled

Combine all ingredients except ribs in saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncover 30 minutes. Brush ribs with sauce and grill 45 minutes or until tender, basting and turning frequently. Separate ribs into serving portions with scissors.

Spicy ribs may be prepared in the oven. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place ribs on rack over bakign sheet or other large pan, brushing generously with sauce and cook 45 to 60 minutes until tender, basting and turning frequently. Divide into serving portions and serve with remaining sauce.
