4 ham hocks 2 onions, chopped 4 celery, diced, sliced 2 carrots, chopped 1 lb. dry lima beans 1 head cabbage, chopped Clean beans before cooking. Rinse at least twice. Fill pot to 3/4 full of water. Cook ham, onions, celery, carrots, beans. After vegetables seem to be tender, add cabbage. Cook for at least 2 hours. |
