3 c. cubed left over roast beef 1 med. onion, diced 4 med. potatoes, peeled & diced 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 stick butter Salt & pepper to taste Dash garlic powder (1/2 tsp.) 1 can beef broth 1 can (beef broth can) hot water Cook potatoes and onion in butter until brown, turning frequently. Last 5 minutes of browning, add flour. Add spices, beef broth, and water. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour to 45 minutes or until onion is well done. Serve with hot buttered biscuits or garlic bread and tossed green salad. |
