3-4 lb. chuck or rump roast 6 carrots, cut in 3" lengths 3 onions, halved, not peeled 8 sm. potatoes, halved, not peeled 8 sm. cloves garlic 1 (10 oz.) bottle Club Soda 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. Tabasco 2 tbsp. soy sauce Place roast on rack in covered roaster. Make 8 small deep slits in roast and insert 1 clove of garlic in each. Place vegetables around roast and sprinkle all with Worcestershire, Tabasco and soy sauce. Pour club soda over all and roast (covered) at 250 degrees for 4-5 hours. |
