This is a delicious (but high calorie) treat for breakfast, brunch, or anytime. Brown 12 breakfast sausages and set aside on warm. Melt in a double boiler: 3 oz. cream cheese 1 tbsp. butter Stir in: 1 c. half & half Add: 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. paprika Break into the sauce 6 eggs. Before the egg whites are firm, stir the eggs gently with a fork and add 1 1/2 tablespoons sherry. Serve the eggs when they have thickened, surrounded by sausage. |
