1 lb. fettucini noodles 1 clove garlic, pressed 1/4 lb. butter 1 egg yolk 3/4 c. heavy cream 2 tbsp. sour cream 3/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese Salt Pepper Cream butter until fluffy, add egg yolk and cream and beat constantly while adding cheese, one tablespoon at a time. Add salt and pepper. Put cooked and drained noodles in large heated serving bowl. Add sauce; mix well. Serve immediately. HINT: You can make sauce ahead of time and store in refrigerator. Serves 4. |
