JAPANESE FRIED NOODLES
 

3 slices bacon slices 1/2"
1 tsp. ginger, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
3 pkg. saimin soup base (noodle base)
2 stalks celery, sliced in thin strips
1 onion, diced
2 shitake, sliced thin (Japanese Black mushroom)
1 c. cabbage, shredded
1/2 stick kamaboko, sliced thin (Japanese steamed fish cake)
2 tbsp. sesame oil
3 pkg. saimin noodles
2 stalks green onion, finely chopped

Fry bacon on medium heat with ginger and garlic. Add carrots and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add 1 package of soup base. Add celery, onions and mushrooms; fry for 1 minute. Add cabbage, kamaboko, sesame oil and another soup base. Run water through saimin or noodle to separate. Drain. Add to cooked vegetables. Finally, add green onion and last package of soup base. 3 large servings!
