OKRA AND TOMATOES
 

2 lb. okra, sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
6 fresh tomatoes, cubed
4 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. diced onion
Salt and pepper

Fry okra in oil. Add celery and onion until slightly brown. Remove from heat and drain off excess grease. Return to heat and add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer for about 40 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
