CARAMELIZED ONIONS
 

2 lg. onions (1 lb.)
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Cut onion into thick slices. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, cook onion until tender. Stir in vinegar and brown sugar; cook until golden. Makes 4 servings. Each serving, about 115 calories.
