STUFFED GRAPEVINE LEAVES
 

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. fresh parsley
1/2 c. rice
2 eggs
1 tbsp. butter
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 can tomato paste
1/2 lemon
1 jar grape vine leaves

Preboil grapevine leaves for 10 minutes. Mix ground beef, parsley, rice, eggs, onion, tomato paste. Stuff each leaf with beef mixture. Line in deep pot. Break pieces of butter on top and cut pieces of lemon on top. Mix 2 glasses of water with 1/2 can tomato paste. Pour over stuffed grapevine leaves. Cover with a dish on top and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or when cooked.
