BAKED TACO DINNER
 

2 lbs. ground beef
1 med. - lg. onion
1 (16 oz.) can chili beans
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 pkg. Lipton dry soup mix
12 taco shells
2 lg. tomatoes, diced
1/4 head chopped lettuce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Brown hamburger, soup mix and onion until browned. Pour off grease. Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce and beans. Break taco shells in half and place on bottom and sides of a 9"x13" pan. Spoon meat mixture all around on shells and spread cheese on top of meat. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and spread lettuce and tomatoes over top and serve.
