ZITI BAKE
 

2 (28 oz.) jars thick spaghetti sauce
1 (16 oz.) pkg. ziti macaroni
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/.4 c. finely chopped parsley
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese (grated)

1. Cook macaroni as label directs. Drain. Set aside.

2. Brown beef. Remove from heat.

3. Add Ricotta and next 5 ingredients. Add 1 1/2 jars of sauce until well mixed.

4. Add macaroni. Mix well.

5. Spoon mixture into 13x9 baking dish.

6. Spread remaining sauce over mixture.

7. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
