2 lbs. cottage cheese 3/4 lb. cream cheese 3/4 lb. nuts, chopped 10 oz. butter or substitute creamed with 1/3 c. milk in mixing bowl 100 slices bread (whole wheat or rye) Combine cottage cheese and cream cheese with nuts. Add enough evaporated milk to spread easily. Spread butter on one slice of bread and filling on the other. Put together. Cut and wrap in wax paper. |
