STRAWBERRY JAM RECIPE
 

1 3/4 c. crushed strawberries (about 1 qt.)
4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 bottle Certo fruit pectin or 1 pouch or bag

Thoroughly mix fresh, crushed strawberries with sugar and let stand for 10 minutes. Combine lemon juice with Certo and add to fruit mixture. Stir the whole thing for 3 minutes. And that's it for 5 cups of jam.

Ladle your fresh homemade jam into any 5 scalded jars (8 ounces or smaller with screw tops). Or use plastic containers (with snap lids). Cover right away and then let stand at room temperature for 24 hours to set. Keep what you can eat in the refrigerator and freeze the rest for sweeter days.
