1/2 c. butter 1/3 c. sugar 1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1 egg 1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 c. flour 1/2 c. rolled oats 1 c. jelly beans (cut up or use miniature ones) Cream together butter and sugars. Beat in egg, baking soda, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour and oats until blended. Add jelly beans. Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes t 375 degrees. Yield: 3 dozen. |
