FRUIT CRISP
 

6 c. sliced pared apples or 5 c. fresh or frozen (thawed & drained) peaches
2/3 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
1/4 c. firm butter
1/4 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Cinnamon Whipped Cream (below)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spread apples in ungreased 8"x8"x2" square pan. Mix remaining ingredients except Cinnamon Whipped Cream until crumbly; sprinkle over apples. Bake until apples are tender and topping is brown, 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm with Cinnamon Whipped Cream, 6 to 8 servings.

CINNAMON WHIPPED CREAM: Beat 1 cup chilled whipping cream, 3 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon in chilled bowl until stiff.
