FRUIT CRISP
 

4 to 6 c. seasoned fruit

Some good combinations of fruit are:

Nectarines/cherries, 1/4 c. sugar
Plums/blueberries, 1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
Apples/cranberries, 1 c. sugar
Peaches/blackberries, 1/4 c. sugar

Mix gently. Add a tablespoon of cornstarch to the liquid that comes out of the fruit and blend into the fruit. Pour into a 9 inch pie dish.

TOPPING:

3/4 to 1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING: Mix dry ingredients, cut butter in until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
