1 sm. pkg. lemon & 1 orange Jello 2 c. hot water 1 1/2 c. cold water Juice of 1 lemon 1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, drained & save juice 2 diced bananas 10 diced marshmallows or 1 c. tidbits Dissolve Jello in hot water. Add cold water and lemon juice. Chill until partly thickened. Fold in the pineapple, bananas and marshmallows and pour in pan and chill until firm. TOPPING: 2 well rounded tbsp. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 c. pineapple juice 2 level tbsp. butter 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped Mix flour and sugar, add egg and pineapple juice. Cook, stirring constantly until thick, then remove from heat. Add butter and stir until melted. Cool and fold in whipping cream and frost mold like you would a cake. |
