FROZEN FRUIT COCKTAIL SALAD
 

1 #2 1/2 can fruit cocktail
1 tsp. unflavored gelatin
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. mayonnaise
Dash of salt
2/3 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Drain fruit cocktail. Soften the gelatin in lemon juice; dissolve over hot water. Blend cream cheese with mayonnaise and salt. Stir in gelatin. Whip cream until stiff. Add sugar gradually during last stages of beating. Fold in cheese mixture, nuts and fruit cocktail. Pour into a refrigerator ice tray that has been lined with wax paper. Freeze until firm.
